The cadet, whose name has not been disclosed, killed himself last Friday at the Suvorov Military Cadet School in Ussuriisk, a town in Russia's Far East, said Sergei Pozdnyakov, a local military prosecutor.
He said forensic experts would try to establish the circumstances surrounding the suicide. A police source said the cadet had encountered problems with his studies at the school.
