I was really good this morning sorting my lights from my colours and put a dark wash on.

Oh dear - what a state it is all in. There was a tissue in one of the pockets and everything looks like a snow storm.

I've hung it all out on the line and it is windy so I am hoping that alot will just float away in the breeze.

Anyone got any good tips on getting this stuff off once the clothes have dryed?

I have another dark wash to do and I am afraid incase there is still stuff in the machine - its all the kids school uniforms.

I think it might have to be the duck tape. I checked the clothes and the breeze has blown alot away. Will have to give them a good shake in the morning and then the tape.

Better check the pockets better next time.

I don't know 4given. The only thing I know is that my wife says "Never put the shirts in with the towels!"

lol, true. Towels take longer to dry than shirts plus I was told if you put a fabric sheet with the towels they loose their absorbents. Does that make sense, not the wording I want but I think you understand.

Not to start a flame war or anything but I have awlays wondered why juices (in general) stress out so much about these type of things? I am a batchelor and live between hamper and basket, wrinkles in the clothes don't bother me as I am not what I wear. My true clothing is on the inner man and to be concerned about others opinions of trivial matters just interferes with our mission of serving others and worshipping the L-rd. iIdo not say this as an insult but there are more important matters to spend our energies on. A post from ChrisMarie about her 2 kids comes to mind....dealing with the real problems of the children is more important and of eternal significance that worry over lint, wrinkles and the cilantro annoyances of life. Yes I have been married and had the same "majoring on the minors" conversation with the ex....Please remember that your identity is in Yeshua not your laundry or dishes or housework or cars...it will all be burned up in time. Please adjust your focus on what and who is really important...

(humbly steps off the soapbox...)

Your ok, we are all entitled to our opinions. But you need to also remember as wives and homemakers it's our duty to care for our families and meet there needs, some of them trivial. I don't think 4given sits around worry about this too much, she was just sharing a cilantro minor frustration

I am with you though, I don't buy it if it wrinkles it hardy ever makes it from the clean pile to a dressers drawer, I just fold and pile and wear again.

And I do appreciate your reminder to about staying focused, we are to hold each other accountable.

But remember....coming into the womens forum you will get woman talk

Your forgiven

Now to part 2 of the story. I was too hasty to press the submit key yesterday but the following is where the Lord was leading me with this.

When that happened yesterday morning - I thought first of Smokey - and I said to myself no doubt he would be able to turn this into a story and bring in some scripture. I was so busy I left the thread unfinished until today.

When I discovered the mess it made me think of the unconfessed sin in our lives. We forget about it just like my 'tissue' and then through our daily cycle in life - that sin starts to affect other things in our lives and other people - just the way the tissue started to affect other items of my clothing.

I was looking for a solution - I knew of one but wanted to find out if all of you in America had any ideas different to me.

Thats like us sometimes we know there is a solution but we try and seek other ways to sort out our problems when deep down we should head straight to the Lord.

Just like me - the ONLY thing that could get that stuff off the school uniform and work uniform was the duck tape.

What Jesus does for us is a bit like that duck tape - he just takes those sins in our lives and picks them up so easily and makes us spotless again.
Only Jesus has washed our sins away by the shedding of his blood on the cross.

Revelation 1:5
Unto HIM that loved us, and washed us from our sins
in HIS own blood.

Colossians 1:14
we have redemption through HIS blood, even the forgiveness of sins

I think this recipe sums it all up. I listened to this alot yesterday.
